I saw Stephen Colbert in DC
Er..well..not exactly. However I did see his portrait in the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC. A few weekends ago I was supposed to go to Vermont to snowboard with my sisters, but the weather was calling for rain, freezing rain, and then cold and windy. Not good. So Friday night we decided not […]

Chi-Town Weekend
I went to visit my friend, Alexis, in Chicago last weekend. It was great although it started off not so great. My flight out of Newark was delayed (big surprise) by 2 hrs. I got notice of the delay before I left for the airport, but we were still required to be at the gate […]

US Dollar TANKS!!
The Euro reached an all-time high against the dollar today - $1.40. Even worse $1usd = $1cad. This sucks..I don’t foresee traveling outside the US anytime soon. Remember the time when Canadian dollars were like monopoly money? Ahh..the good old days.

I’m in Salt Lake right now. The supah-cool SLC Library to be exact. I walked into Newark airport at 4:45pm yesterday and landed at the SLC airport 2:30pm today. Wha?
Well my flight last night was getting more and more delayed so when they asked for volunteers to be bumped I took their offer. We were […]

Can I hit the last 12 in the next year and a half? That would mean I did the whole US before I was 30. So I’ve got the rest of my […]

MAMRT: Day 1
The Mommy & Me Roadtrip is on! Theoretically this should have been 2 days but since my mom’s flight came in 2hrs late (thus landing on Thursday) it’s all one day! I had booked us a room at the downtown Radisson. So after I picked her up we went back to the hotel and crashed. […]

MAMRT: About to Take OFF
My Mom’s flight arrived over an hour late…at 1am. Ewww. But we are ready to roll at 7am this morning. We need to swing by my apartment, then we are heading down I15 to Bryce Canyon!

I spent last wednesday night through monday morning up in Portland. I still haven’t figured out where I want to “settle” after my work hiatus and I’ve had many people tell me they thought I’d love Portland…and well I did.
I took a bunch of photos that you can check out on flickr.
It’s a 2hr flight […]
