Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style : C-
I caught an episode of Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style last night on Bravo. Blech. I adore Tim but this show was hard to watch. It has no flow and Tim’s charm plays well in real life situations, but sounds overly affected in the commentary sections.
I read the book and it’s worthwhile but I don’t think it applies well as a show - at least how this is done. Their whole show is based around Tim’s list of 10 things a woman should have in her closet but not any real rules around this. So they send the woman out to buy a trench coat, a pair of jeans, etc with no instruction on what sort of jeans or trenchcoat to look for. What Not to Wear works so much better.
Veronica Webb scares me and has no chemistry with Tim.

I can’t wait for Project Runway to start on November 14.
