I was in NYC today for training and therefore took the bus. It lets you off on Route 46 and you have to cross 2 big intersections to get back to the commuter lot. Anyway, I am crossing the street with the mob of people and 2 cops are telling everyone to go to the corner. We all got tickets for not using the cross walk. WTF?? To make it worse I had to wait 25 minutes just to get my ticket. They did this to all the people  coming off later buses too. They claimed it was for “safety” but I’m sure it’s the money. Just while I was standing there they easily gave out 30 tickets. And if it was really about safety then they would have given people warnings. Needless to say I am going to fight this in court, as #1 I did not know it was illegal to not use the crosswalk and #2 there is no sign indicating that you have to use the cross walk. Parsippany cops suck.

I tried to call the bus company to tell the dispatcher to tell drivers to warn passengers but all I got was hold music for 5 minutes. Yeah Lakeland buses!
