Happy St Patrick’s Day!
I’m wearing my green.
It’s starting to feel springy. Yesterday my brother complained that it wasn’t supposed to be so cold in march. I countered that it’s still winter and we often get blizzards in march.
Anyway, Saturday I walked around our yard checking the gardens. I see daffodils starting to peek up. The tigerlilies are rearing their heads, and there’s growth on the helleborous (sp). I am excited for spring to come so I can get working on a lot of the yard stuff I didn’t finish last year. My big thing is finishing the Japenese garden. I’m glad I split and planted the hostas and tigerlilies last year and planted some new plants. The big effort will be putting up the bamboo lattice, making the hypertufa stone fountain, and the pathway.
I also need to take apart the pond in the backyard and redo it. Next week I’m off to California for some spring snowboarding. Yay!
