fire at my sister’s place
My sister’s apartment building burned (not exactly) down last night. She’s fine and everyone got out ok. We were worried for her kitten, Penny, because she couldn’t find her when she fled. The only thing she took with her was her phone. We got down there at 3am and as we went up to the truck she was in, a fireman walked up with a very wet, sooty, scared kitten. Penny was fine. They were told pretty much everything was destroyed though.
The fire made big news in the Asbury Park Press. My mom and my uncle, who is a firefighter and works at the fire academy, are going down with her to see what they can do. She hopes to at least find the keys for her car.
My dad took this photo. Her apartment in 2nd floor on the right side. The entire back of the building was destroyed.
Thats so scary! I’m so glad to hear that she made it out ok and so did her little kitty. Sending good vibes out to your family. I hope she was able to salvage some of her stuff.
